When it comes down to details, this is what SNAPKIN will provide in your package:
A 3D model in .rvt or .ifc format including: floors, partition and load-bearing walls, doors and windows including opening directions and supporting structures (posts).

The following are not included in our package:
Frames, beams, roofing, moulding, parapets, pipework, electrical components, stairs (we will indicate the exact position of the stairs showing entry and exit points but cannot guarantee the number of steps, step height, etc.) exterior facades, annotations (dimensions, window breasts, ceiling height, dropped ceiling height etc.) which are the responsibility of the client.

Wall outline

This concerns ground plans of the walls.

OPTION A
Wall ground plans strictly follow point cloud. 
Advantage: Improved precision of the 3D model. 
Disadvantage: No interpretation work as the data is treated as raw. 

OPTION B
We will carry out horizontal alignment to create a unique wall for each facade.
Advantage: Improved model appearance. 
Disadvantage: Less precision (which will be more evident on the length of an important wall).

OPTION C
Priority is given to the general outside line of the building, providing a way of smoothing the facades. 
Advantage: The facades are regular and the 3D model will be more homogenous. 
Disadvantage: The precision will be between OPTION A and OPTION B.

You have chosen the complete model. Choose the method to be applied for the alignment of walls between levels.

This concerns the cross section view.

OPTION A
We will keep alignment for facade walls (calculating an average value). 
We will keep this principal for interior wall outlines for one room with two levels (e.g. mezzanine, stairwell). 
Advantage: Interpretation of the raw data to give consistency to the model. 
Disadvantage: The detail of the interior wall will be less precise.

OPTION B
Your 3D model will strictly follow plot points.
Advantage: Improved precision of the 3D model. 
Disadvantage: No interpretation work as the data is treated as raw.

 
Slab levels

This concerns the cross section view.

OPTION A
You require a single level property for each floor. The level property is the lowest part of the floor
Advantage: Simplified tree structure. 
Disadvantage: Window breasts will be calculated in relation to this level for labelling. 

OPTION B
The level property is the most important surface of the floor.
Advantage: Simplified tree structure.
Disadvantage: Window breasts will be calculated in relation to this level for labelling. 

OPTION C
You require a main level property for each floor and individual properties for each level difference occurring on the same floor.
Advantage: Calculations for window breasts will be correct for labelling. 
Disadvantage: Duplication of level properties.

 
Slabs

This concerns the cross section view.

On the same level, if the slab is inclined:

OPTION A
You require a horizontal slab (an average will be calculated for the floor overall).
Advantage: Other architectural elements (walls etc.) will be correctly attached to the slab.
Disadvantage: Loss of precision 

OPTION B
You require the slab to strictly follow the plot points.
Advantage: The slab will be precise. 
Disadvantage: Complex shape and eventual difficulties in attaching the slab to other elements.
